Contents
160 gm fresh coconut powder, 145 gm sugar, 4 tbsp milk powder, ½ tsp ground cardamom, 2 tsp ghee, 1 lemon, 10gm almonds, 10gm walnuts
1. Heat the coconut and sugar together in a heavy-bottomed frying pan over low heat, stirring frequently, until most of the moisture evaporates and the coconut and sugar begin to bind together, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle the milk powder over the mixture and stir. The milk powder helps absorb moisture and bind the mixture.
2. Coconuts vary in their water content. If the mixture is still too loose, add a bit more milk powder. Add cardamom powder and mix.
3. Grease a rimmed plate with the ghee. Spread the coconut mixture evenly and press and flatten with your hands. Cool completely. Cut into desired shape and serve with walnuts and almonds as decoration. The prep time is 15 min, cooking time is 15 min and extra 1 hour for fermenting.
This yummy and nutritious sweet dish is ready to taste!
