Coconut is a natural and quick source of energy. It also improves digestion and absorption of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. This simple sweet called Narali Pak is easy to make and you will find it to be very yummy!

Ingredients to make Narali Pak:

Coconut, sugar, milk, cream (optional), ghee, cashews, cardamom powder, ghee

Steps to make Narali Pak:

1. Firstly, in a large heavy bottomed kadai, take a cup of coconut.

2. Furthermore, add ¾ to 1 cup of sugar, depending on your little one's sweet tooth.

3. Mix well till the sugar starts to melt. This takes around 2 minutes.

4. Next, add milk. Adding milk makes the coconut more juicy.

5. Furthermore, add cream. This is an optional step.

6. Give a good mix, till it starts separating from the pan. This takes around 8-10 minutes on medium flame.

7. The next step is to add ghee.

8. Also add few chopped cashews.

9. Additionally, add cardamom powder. Give it a final mix.

10. Furthermore, transfer it on a butter paper or a plate coated with ghee.

11. Press and set to a square shape. Grease knife with ghee and when its still hot, cut to square shapes or the shapes you desired.

12. Allow it to cool completely. Finally, serve the Narali Pak or store in an airtight container.

It remains fresh for a week without refrigeration.
